Jeremy Joe Potts, 46, of Junction, passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, February 26, 2026. Born October 26, 1979, in Harrisburg, Illinois, to Joe Potts and Debbie Jo (Lamb) Riggs. He dedicated his career to working as a coal miner, a profession that reflected his strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to providing for his family. Above all, Jeremy was a devoted and loving father whose greatest pride was his children and grandchildren. He also shared his life with his significant other, Miranda Willis, whose love and companionship meant so much to him. In addition to his parents and partner, he is survived by his sons, Dylan Brugger (Whitney Crayne) of McLeansboro and Elijah Wesley Potts of Junction; his daughter, Megan Goins of Carrier Mills; his brothers, Jesse Joe Potts (Crystal) of Indiana and Gabriel Potts of Harrisburg; and his beloved grandchildren, Creed, Riggs, and Cayden, who brought immense joy to his life. Jeremy will be cremated, and in accordance with his wishes, no services will be held at this time.
